The Family Project

The Family Project began in late 2004. I started out by choosing families I had never met to live with for extended periods of time. I was interested in the permeability of the family structure, and what happens when a complete stranger enters a household. I was also curious about how my own family experience would affect the project. The result is a combination of completely spontaneous documentary photographs mixed with slightly more orchestrated ones based on real events and situations I encountered.
